0

WTFund, an initiative led by investor and entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, has announced its second cohort, featuring 22 founders under the age of 25. The fund, designed to empower young entrepreneurs, offers up to Rs 20 lakh in grant funding, along with mentorship and strategic partnerships, to help early-stage startups scale their impact.

By democratizing access to funding and resources, WTFund has established itself as a launchpad for first-time founders, fostering a culture of innovation, resilience, and learning. The initiative aims to bridge critical gaps in India’s startup ecosystem, empowering young visionaries to build and grow impactful businesses.

A Nationwide Pool of Talent

This year, WTFund received applications from over 50 cities, including tier-2, tier-3, and remote locations, reflecting a truly nationwide entrepreneurial spirit. The selected startups span diverse industries, including tech/SaaS, D2C, edtech, fintech, healthtech, agritech, and cleantech—each driving innovation at scale.

The applications showcased a strong mobile-first mindset across all tiers. While tier-1 startups are pioneering AI/ML-driven B2B solutions, founders from tier-2 and tier-3 cities are developing vernacular-first B2C innovations tailored to India’s diverse markets. These young entrepreneurs are not only addressing local challenges but also building globally scalable solutions.

The second cohort highlights nine standout startups with the potential to create a significant impact:

  • InnerGize – Focused on holistic wellness and sustainable health solutions.
  • Armatrix – Advancing security tech and AI-driven surveillance.
  • Drnk – Revolutionizing the beverage industry with innovative products.
