Growth capital firm Playbook Partners is gearing up to invest approximately $20 million (around Rs 175 crore) in each of 12-15 companies over the next two years, reinforcing its commitment to scaling high-potential ventures.

“Our focus is on companies that have surpassed Rs 100 crore in turnover, where our capital and expertise can help fast-track their growth to the next level,” said Playbook Partners Founder and Managing Partner Vikas Choudhury in a statement to PTI.

The firm specifically targets companies across key sectors, including SaaS, e-commerce, healthtech, climate-tech, B2B, and B2C. Its investment strategy revolves around technology-enabled enterprises with strong unit economics, aiming to propel them toward market leadership.

As an operator-driven growth capital (GC) firm specializing in Digital India, Playbook Partners has an impressive investment portfolio featuring prominent companies like Myntra, PolicyBazaar, InMobi, Nazara Technologies, Rapido, and Renee. While its primary focus is on the Indian market, it has also backed global giants such as SpaceX and Stripe, showcasing its diverse investment approach.

With this strategic move, Playbook Partners aims to accelerate innovation and expansion for growth-stage startups, reinforcing its role as a key player in India’s digital economy.
