Netrasemi, a Kerala-based semiconductor startup, has successfully raised ₹10 crore in its pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The funds will be directed toward fabricating two advanced machine learning system-on-chips (SoCs), the Netra A2000 and Netra R1000, designed to revolutionize Edge AI for Internet of Things (IoT) products.

Founded in 2020 by Jyothis Indirabhai, Sreejith Varma, and Deepa Geetha, Netrasemi specializes in creating cutting-edge SoCs that address the growing demand for efficient, on-device computing in IoT applications. The startup focuses on delivering AI/ML-enabled SoCs and reference designs that simplify the development of Edge AI products, enabling businesses to deploy over 100 AI/ML use cases with ease and cost-efficiency.
Netrasemi’s chips are embedded into IoT motherboards, empowering devices with advanced AI-driven analytics without relying on cloud servers. This architecture not only enhances responsiveness and independence but also reduces costs, making smart IoT solutions more accessible across industries.
