Healthfab, a reusable period panty brand, has raised $1 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by Mistry Ventures, with participation from BeyondSeed, Thrive Ventures, and prominent investors including Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal.

Prior to this, the company secured $336,000 in a seed round from BeyondSeed in 2022.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Healthfab’s presence in metro and Tier 2 cities and to invest in research and development, the company said in a press release.

Founded in 2019 by Kiriti Acharjee, Sourav Chakrabarty, and Satyajit Chakraborty, Healthfab aims to revolutionize menstrual hygiene with its sustainable and innovative solutions. The company’s flagship product, GoPadFree Period Panty, is a reusable, leak-proof solution designed to provide maximum comfort, unrestricted movement, and an eco-friendly alternative to traditional menstrual products.

With India’s feminine hygiene market projected to reach $2 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 14.8% (2025-2030), the demand for sustainable menstrual solutions is on the rise.

Healthfab claims to be the first reusable period panty brand in India to receive BIS certification and patent protection for its technology. The company has already acquired more than 300,000 customers and is experiencing an annual revenue growth of 2.5-3x.

The startup competes with global players like Thinx and Knix, but its localized approach and emphasis on affordability and sustainability set it apart in the Indian market.
