Bengaluru-based prop-tech startup Inkers Technology has raised $3 million in its Series A funding round, led by Ashish Kasholia from Lucky Investments. This follows previous funding of $2.03 million secured from Sailing Stones Technologies and other investors.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the company’s reach and enhance its product offerings, according to a press release by Inkers.
Co-founded by Rohan Shravan, Manish Giri, and Srikanth Kandada, Inkers is at the forefront of digital transformation in the construction industry. It addresses critical infrastructure challenges by leveraging advanced technologies such as computer vision, deep neural networks, hardware-level acceleration, and frequency domain encoding. These innovations form the backbone of its integrated video processing pipeline, enabling the optimization of complex data streams for actionable insights.
The company’s flagship product, Observance, is an AI-powered platform designed to analyze and process construction data, including point cloud data, images, Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, and project schedules. This data is transformed into actionable insights to help construction teams proactively identify issues, streamline workflows, and reduce costs.
Observance offers hyper-accurate as-built 3D models enhanced with thermal maps, providing real-time construction updates, BIM conflict resolutions, and early detection of structural defects. The platform boasts an impressive ability to scan up to 100,000 square feet of construction area in an hour and deliver comprehensive analytics, defect reports, and schedule updates within 24–48 hours.
Having been deployed across 150+ sites in Bangalore, NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad, Observance has already scanned over 250 million square feet of construction area, processing more than 2 petabytes of data.
With this funding, Inkers aims to scale its operations and bring cutting-edge AI solutions to a broader market, driving efficiency and sustainability in construction projects across India and beyond.
