Ola Electric Mobility Limited has announced the appointment of Pritam Das Mohapatra as the company’s new Secretary and Compliance Officer. The decision was approved by the board of directors during a meeting held on December 30, 2024, with immediate effect.

This appointment comes two months after the resignation of Pramendra Tomar, who stepped down from the position due to personal reasons and other commitments.

Pritam Das Mohapatra brings with him more than 14 years of expertise in corporate law, compliance, fundraising, IPO listings, and corporate governance. He is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has previously held senior roles at Merabo Labs Private Limited, ANI Technologies Private Limited, Ola Fleet Technologies Private Limited, and Zuari Infraworld India Limited.

In his new role, Mohapatra will be responsible for ensuring Ola Electric’s adherence to regulatory compliance and governance frameworks. His responsibilities include ensuring the company’s compliance with SEBI regulations and corporate governance standards.

The appointment follows a week of significant leadership changes at Ola Electric, which also saw the immediate resignation of Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, and Suvonil Chatterjee, Chief Technology and Product Officer.

Ola Electric continues to evolve its leadership team as it strengthens its position in the electric mobility sector.
