Navi has announced key leadership changes, appointing Rajiv Naresh as the new CEO of Navi Technologies Limited and Abhishek Dwivedi as the new CEO of Navi Finserv Limited. Meanwhile, Sachin Bansal, the existing CEO of both entities, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Navi Group, where he will focus on the company’s strategic direction.
Both Naresh and Dwivedi have been integral members of Navi’s founding team and have held leadership roles within the company over the past six years. Their elevation marks a strategic shift designed to enhance the company’s long-term growth and operational efficiency.
“This restructuring is a strategic milestone that enables us to sharpen our focus on long-term growth. Both Rajiv and Abhishek have played key roles in our journey, and I am confident that we will continue on this upward trajectory as they assume their new roles,” said Bansal.
Under the new leadership structure, Abhishek Dwivedi will oversee Navi’s lending businesses, while Rajiv Naresh will manage the non-lending segments of the company.
Sachin Bansal, in his new role, will focus on long-term strategy, business expansion, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and risk management. He will also drive Navi’s technology and data science initiatives while mentoring the new CEOs.
The leadership shift comes shortly after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lifted restrictions on Navi Finserv, allowing it to resume lending. In October, Navi Finserv was among four NBFCs directed by the RBI to halt loan approvals due to regulatory compliance concerns.
With this transition, Navi aims to strengthen its market position and accelerate its growth across fintech and lending sectors.
