Magicpin, a leading offline discovery and rewards platform, has unveiled its 15-minute food delivery service, MagicNOW. Piloted across major Indian metros, the new offering aims to deliver popular dishes quickly, catering to the growing demand for ultra-fast and convenient food delivery.
Pilot Success Across Six Cities
MagicNOW has launched in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Pune. During its pilot phase, which ran from November 14 to December 15, the service reportedly fulfilled 75,000 deliveries. Leveraging a network of over 2,000 food brands—including Chaayos, Faasos, Wendy’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell—MagicNOW also partnered with over 1,000 local restaurants to provide customers with a diverse menu of quick-to-prepare dishes.
Focused on Quality and Freshness
MagicNOW differentiates itself by operating exclusively with partner restaurants, avoiding dark stores, and ensuring that quality and freshness are not compromised. With delivery coverage spanning a radius of 1.5 km to 2 km, the platform focuses on speed and reliability.
Logistics Powered by Velocity by Magicpin
The logistics backbone for MagicNOW is Velocity by Magicpin, a third-party logistics (3PL) aggregator that streamlines operations for brands and sellers. Through partnerships with Shadowfax, Dunzo, Rapido, Porter, OLA, and Zypp, Velocity offers a robust and efficient delivery system. The platform is already in use by major brands like KFC, Burger King, and IGP Gifting.
ONDC and Food Delivery Leadership
Magicpin recently claimed to be the largest food delivery seller on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), handling nearly 150,000 daily food and logistics orders in October. This milestone underscores the company’s leadership in integrating advanced supply chain solutions with hyperlocal delivery.
Competitive Landscape
MagicNOW enters a highly competitive space dominated by players like Zepto, Swiggy, and Blinkit. Notable moves in the segment include Blinkit’s 10-minute food delivery service, Bistro, and Zepto’s upcoming Zepto Cafe app. Swiggy has also introduced its 10-minute delivery service, Bolt, to meet the rising demand for instant food delivery.
With MagicNOW, Magicpin aims to carve its niche in this growing market by offering speed, reliability, and quality, positioning itself as a strong contender in the ultra-fast delivery space.
