IIMA Ventures Launches Accelerator Program for Aspiring Early-Stage Investors

Date:

IIMA Ventures, formerly IIMA-CIIE, has introduced the Venture Investing Accelerator, a new program designed to equip first-time and novice investors with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to excel in early-stage investing.

According to IIMA Ventures, the accelerator is ideal for aspiring and first-time early-stage investors, as well as individuals looking to understand and operationalize venture investing as an asset class through family offices, micro VCs, or corporate venture offices.

The program offers immersive education and intensive coaching, allowing participants to learn from and network with IIMA professors, IIMA Ventures partners, leaders in venture investing, and their peers. One of the key components of the program is a 3-day boot camp on the IIMA campus, scheduled for August 8-10, 2024.

Founded in 2002 as an entrepreneurship centre at IIM Ahmedabad, IIMA Ventures has evolved into an innovation continuum that studies, educates, incubates, accelerates, and invests in early-stage startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and investors. The platform claims to have mentored over 7,000 founders, accelerated over 1,700 startups, provided capital to more than 700 companies, and released over 400 publications. IIMA Ventures has also launched various funds, including the climate fund INFUSE Ventures, the fintech-focused Bharat Inclusion Initiative, and the deep-tech Bharat Fund, among others.
