Sources familiar with the matter have informed that Ankur Jain, former Chief Product Officer at BharatPe, is gearing up to launch his latest venture, Jivi.ai, which will focus on AI-driven healthcare solutions.
According to insiders, Jivi.ai will make its public debut later this month. The startup’s founding team comprises professionals and research scholars from prestigious institutions such as Stanford, MIT, Harvard, and Yale.
Jain parted ways with BharatPe in July last year after over three years of service, during which he spearheaded product development and innovation initiatives.
This isn’t Jain’s first foray into entrepreneurship; he previously co-founded Instalocate, a travel tech startup.
According to sources close to the development, Jivi.ai aims to revolutionize primary healthcare by harnessing artificial intelligence, digital health technologies, large language models, machine learning, and generative AI.
Sources revealed that the initial version of Jivi.ai is poised to launch in India and the US, with over 100 doctors, physicians, and hospitals already onboarded in India over the last three months.
Additionally, Jivi.ai has secured initial seed funding and is in talks to close its next funding round shortly.
Jain’s venture adds to the growing “BharatPe mafia,” following the footsteps of other former BharatPe executives who have launched their startups. Genwise, founded by ex-BharatPe executives Rajat Jain, Geetanshu Singla, and Nehul Malhotra, raised funds in April last year.
Ashneer Grover, former co-founder and MD of BharatPe and his wife Madhuri Jain, launched Third Unicorn, introducing the fantasy sports platform CrickPe. Third Unicorn is also gearing up to launch another fintech startup, ZeroPe. Bhavik Koladiya, another BharatPe co-founder, has been the CEO of SaaS startup OTPless. Suhail Sameer, former CEO of BharatPe, is leading venture capital firm OTP Venture as managing partner.
