Wify Secures $3 Million in Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Operations.

Date:

Home furnishing installation startup Wify has raised Rs 25 crore ($3 million) in a pre-Series A round co-led by Mount Judi Ventures and existing investor Capria Ventures. The funding round also saw participation from Blume Founders Fund and other investors.

The Mumbai-based company previously raised $2 million in its seed round in July 2022. The new funds will be utilized to enhance value-added services in existing categories, venture into new categories, and boost capacity building, software, and technology enhancements, Wify announced in a press release.

Founded by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goyal in 2019, Wify connects modern home brands with skilled technicians through its SaaS platform, which features streamlined order management, on-site project management, and real-time tracking for brands and consumers.

Wify plans to harness generative AI for training and onboarding technicians, providing on-the-job assistance, and improving customer service. With over 3,000 technicians on its platform, the startup operates in more than 100 cities across India and collaborates with over 100 global and local brands, including IKEA, Amazon, Godrej, and Hettich.

In the competitive landscape, Wify faces Urban Company in the B2C segment, while in the B2B sector, it contends with regional players such as Mechanic2Home and Easyfix.
