Audio content platform Vobble has secured a significant milestone in its growth journey, raising $1 million in a Seed funding round led by Lumikai Capital. The Bengaluru-based company, known for its immersive child-focused audio experiences, attracted additional support from Blume Founders Fund and other investors.
Vobble’s innovative approach to storytelling captivated audiences on a recent appearance on Shark Tank season III, where they received a proposal from Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. With this new infusion of capital, Vobble aims to expand its user base, refine product-market fit, drive product development, and enhance its AI capabilities.
Since its inception in 2022 by co-founders Neha Sharma and Sowmya, Vobble has curated a diverse range of audio content, including story series, podcasts, music, and audio shows enriched with dialogues, sound effects, and immersive background scores. Partnering with reputable publishers like HarperCollins, Scholastic, Rebel Girls, Tulika, HasBro, and Amar Chitra Katha, Vobble is committed to delivering high-quality content for its young audience.
At the forefront of Vobble’s offerings is “The Vobble Box,” a flagship product comprising kid-safe headphones and activity books. Through this unique approach to storytelling, Vobble fosters imagination and facilitates learning among children.
In a competitive landscape, Vobble stands alongside notable platforms like Dizhua, TT Voice, and Tiya Yalla, contributing to the growing ecosystem of child-centric audio content platforms. With Lumikai’s leadership in this Seed round, Vobble is poised to enrich its offerings further and solidify its position as a leader.
