30 Sundays, an AI-driven travel tech startup, has successfully raised $770,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Infoedge Ventures. The round also saw participation from First Cheque, Eximius, Misfits, and several angel investors.
Founded in 2022 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj, 30 Sundays leverages generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to transform traditional travel agency operations. The startup automates processes such as collecting customer data and updating itineraries, enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, AI is used to analyze customer calls and reviews at scale to generate insights, enabling the company to personalize services and improve customer experience.
The latest funding will allow 30 Sundays to expand its offerings by adding more destinations, including long-haul trips and European markets, to its portfolio. A portion of the funds will also be directed toward strengthening the company’s AI and data capabilities, allowing it to scale rapidly while maintaining a high-quality service.
The use of AI enables the company to achieve up to five times greater efficiency, eliminating the need for large teams typically required in traditional travel agencies. This efficiency not only helps 30 Sundays manage a larger customer base but also ensures that the quality of service remains top-notch, even as demand grows.
India’s outbound tourism market is on an upward trajectory, with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) projecting it to reach $18.8 billion by 2024 and $55.4 billion by 2034, growing at an annual rate of over 11%. 30 Sundays aims to capitalize on this trend by offering seamless, tech-enhanced travel experiences that cater to the evolving needs of modern travelers.
This funding round marks a significant milestone in 30 Sundays’ journey as it continues to integrate cutting-edge technology with personalized travel services to disrupt the traditional travel industry.
