In a significant milestone, the fixed-income investment platform Tap Invest (formerly Leaf Round) has successfully raised $2 million in a recent seed funding round, with Turbostart leading the investment. Notably, the band also saw participation from renowned angel investors like Kunal Shah, Kashyap Shah, and Snow Leopard Ventures. In addition, Tap Invest’s existing backers, Upsparks and Superb Capital, continued their support for the platform in this round.

The brainchild of co-founders Nishchay Nath, Soumya Kushwaha, and Himanshu Chowdhary, Tap Invest is a fintech startup introducing asset renting as a novel alternative investment product. Since its launch in April 2022, the platform has garnered substantial interest and engagement from its early users.

Tap Invest boasts a growing community of more than 12,500 investors who consistently utilize the platform to delve into fixed-income investments through asset leasing and invoice discounting. This innovative approach has positioned Tap Invest as a pioneering solution in the fintech space, catering to the evolving needs of modern investors.

The recent seed funding round marks a significant development for Tap Invest, following its earlier success in raising $300,000 during its pre-seed funding stage. At that time, the company secured investments from micro VC firms Upsparks and Superb Capital and senior business leaders associated with distinguished organisations like McKinsey, Bain, Barclays, and Adobe.

With this substantial investment, Tap Invest is poised to expand its reach and offerings further, providing investors with an innovative and lucrative path to navigate the world of fixed-income investments. As the platform continues to gain momentum, it’s clear that the fintech startup is on a trajectory of success, redefining the landscape of investment opportunities for new and seasoned investors.
