Superfone, an innovative all-in-one business phone and CRM app designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) has successfully raised $1.9 million in its pre-Series A funding round. The round was spearheaded by YourNest Venture Capital, which invested $950,000, and included participation from Ankur Capital, Finsight Seed Fund, and a group of angel investors. This funding marks a significant milestone for the Bengaluru-based company, which plans to use the capital to acquire national telecom licenses, scale its customer acquisition efforts, and strengthen its engineering and product teams.
The funding round is part of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024, a collaborative accelerator initiative between YourNest and SanchiConnect aimed at fostering high-growth startups.
Superfone was founded in 2021 by Pradeep Dodle and Nikhil Goenka with a mission to empower SMBs by transforming the way they manage business communications. Unlike traditional SIM-based solutions, Superfone offers a fully app-based system that integrates key features like CRM, lead management, WhatsApp marketing, and AI-powered agents. This software-first platform addresses the complex communication and operational challenges that SMBs face, helping them accelerate growth, improve customer engagement, and streamline business processes.
With more than 10 million SMBs in India alone, Superfone has already made a significant impact. Its platform is designed to meet the unique needs of small businesses, providing an easy-to-use and scalable solution that integrates communication, marketing, and CRM tools into one seamless platform.
As part of its growth strategy, Superfone recently secured a Unified Licence (VNO) with Access Service for the Karnataka telecom circle and a Unified Licence (Audio Conferencing/Audiotex/Voice Mail Service) for Pan-India from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). This positions the company for greater expansion in India and beyond.
Looking ahead, Superfone plans to expand globally, focusing on high-growth markets in Southeast Asia and Latin America. The company is poised to disrupt the traditional telecom industry by offering SMBs a powerful and intuitive platform that combines advanced communication tools with CRM and marketing functionalities.
With this fresh funding, Superfone aims to strengthen its position as a leader in business communication solutions, empowering millions of SMBs to streamline their operations and accelerate growth in an increasingly digital world.
