Bengaluru-based health-tech startup Stance Health has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round to bolster its musculoskeletal (MSK) care services. The round was led by Silicon Valley venture capital firm General Catalyst, with participation from Antler, DeVC (supported by Z47), and prominent angel investors, including Swiggy co-founders Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, as well as Onsurity co-founder Kulin Shah.
Founded in 2024 by Rohit Arora and Ninad Karandikar, Stance Health focuses on addressing muscle, bone, and joint-related pain through a hybrid model that combines in-person care at its centres with online recovery programs. Since launching its first centre, the startup has conducted over 12,000 sessions in just eight months.
With the fresh infusion of funds, Stance Health aims to enhance its technology platform, scale its services across India, and establish additional physical centres. The company plans to open six new centres by December and expand to another city next year, further strengthening its footprint in the MSK care space.
By integrating technology with specialized care, Stance Health is positioning itself as a key player in India’s growing health-tech sector, offering a comprehensive approach to pain management and recovery.
