Snabbit, a promising startup offering on-demand home services, has successfully secured $5.5 million in a Series A funding round, led by Elevation Capital with significant participation from Nexus Venture Partners. The round also saw investments from notable angels, including Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal, Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh. This investment comes just months after a $1 million seed round led by Nexus Venture Partners earlier in 2024.
Founded by Aayush Agarwal, a former chief of staff at Zepto, Snabbit provides households with the convenience of booking trained professionals for a variety of tasks, from cleaning and dishwashing to laundry, all within a 15-minute window. These services are offered on an hourly basis, making it easy for customers to get immediate help for their home needs.
Currently available in select areas of Mumbai, Snabbit plans to use the new funding to expand its reach to more locations and build a robust team to support its growth.
Agarwal expressed his enthusiasm about the startup’s progress: “Over the past few months, we’ve been extremely focused on understanding customer pain points and building a model that is not only scalable but truly game-changing. The response so far has been highly encouraging—we’ve acquired thousands of customers within just a few kilometers of serviceable radius, driven primarily by strong word-of-mouth.”
Snabbit’s approach is truly innovative in the home services industry. By adopting a full-stack model that handles everything from sourcing and training experts to managing them, Snabbit ensures its workforce has stable income and access to benefits like health and accident insurance. This not only strengthens its service quality but also empowers a previously fragmented workforce.
With its strong backing and ambitious plans for expansion, Snabbit is poised to make a significant impact on the growing demand for home services in India.
