Resilience AI Secures $1 Million in Seed Funding to Drive Climate Risk and Sustainability Solutions

0

Resilience AI, a climate risk and sustainability technology firm, has successfully raised $1 million in its seed funding round, led by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO initiative, which focuses on investing in women-led ventures. Java Capital also participated in the round.

The fresh funding will be directed towards enhancing the development of Resilience360, a comprehensive climate risk management platform designed for both private and public enterprises. The startup aims to collaborate with customers to co-develop solutions, expand market reach, and foster research-driven innovation.

Founded by Samhita R, Resilience AI seeks to address the critical need for proactive climate resilience, helping organizations prepare for extreme climate events such as heatwaves, floods, cyclones, landslides, and earthquakes. The platform combines machine learning with advanced climate analytics to deliver hyperlocal risk maps, automated climate risk diagnostics, and institutionalized climate action plans, aligned with sustainability and climate risk standards.

Resilience360, the flagship product, offers a holistic approach to climate risk management through its four pillars: Baseline for hyperlocal climate risk mapping, Plan for tailored risk control development, Action for implementing and reporting climate measures, and Scale for ongoing monitoring and expanding adaptation strategies. With these tools, Resilience360 empowers organizations to adopt a forward-thinking approach to climate resilience and sustainability.
