Qila Games Secures $1 Million Pre-Seed Funding to Expand Hybrid-Casual Game Portfolio

Qila Games, a hybrid-casual gaming startup, has successfully raised $1 million in its pre-seed funding round led by Chimera VC. Other investors, including Visceral Capital, Atrium Angels, Ventatana Ventures, 91 Ventures, and Untitled Ventures, along with several angel investors, also participated in the round.

The funding will be strategically utilized to develop new intellectual properties (IPs), expand its portfolio of hybrid-casual games, and strengthen its technology and design capabilities.

Founded in 2024 by gaming entrepreneurs Dhananjai Hari and Neeraj Mishra, Qila Games aims to revolutionize the hybrid-casual gaming space—a genre that blends the accessibility of casual games with the strategic depth of mid-core gaming experiences.

In February 2025, Qila Games launched its debut title, Ludo Hero, which reimagines the classic Ludo experience with added layers of strategic battles, conquests, and hero powers.

The gaming sector has seen increased investor interest recently. Last week, mobile game publisher Felicity Games secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by 3one4 Capital. Similarly, in February, Triple Tap Games raised $1.2 million from Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital, further highlighting the growing momentum in the gaming industry.
