Smart mobility startup Six Sense Mobility has secured Rs 6 crore in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica VC, a Mumbai-based angel investment firm. This latest funding follows an earlier investment from Saurabh Nayyar of Docbel Group.
The newly acquired capital will be directed towards expanding the team, enhancing production capabilities, and advancing research and development for vehicle safety technologies.
Founded by Sumit Roy, Kapil Rao, and Narendra Kumar Verma, Six Sense Mobility is based in Delhi and specializes in developing IoT-based devices that leverage AI and machine learning to bolster driving security.
With the global connected cars market projected to grow from approximately $75 billion to $165 billion by 2029, Six Sense Mobility is poised for rapid expansion both in India and internationally. The company’s technology focuses on various automotive safety, security, and maintenance applications. Notably, their crash detection system can identify collisions, assess impact severity, and dispatch emergency SOS services by pinpointing the accident’s exact location, potentially saving lives and crucial time.
