Origin Fresh Raises $1 Million Pre-Seed Funding to Expand Farm-to-Table Delivery

Date:

Bengaluru-based fresh produce brand Origin Fresh has secured $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Aeravti Ventures, with participation from a group of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (Ultra HNIs).

The funds will be used to strengthen the delivery network and develop advanced infrastructure, enabling faster and more efficient farm-to-home service, the company stated in a press release.

Revolutionizing Fresh Produce Delivery

Co-founded in 2020 by Prashanth Vasan and Sidharth Raveendran, Origin Fresh delivers farm-fresh, untouched produce directly to consumers, eliminating middlemen to ensure uncompromised quality at competitive prices. The brand encourages a shift towards quality-focused shopping, emphasizing freshness and nutrition over instant delivery speeds.

By offering a 12-hour farm-to-home delivery promise, the company aims to enhance culinary experiences and promote health-conscious lifestyles. Origin Fresh’s catalog features over 250 fresh produce items, including exotic fruits and vegetables, catering to consumers who prioritize quality and taste.

Rapid Growth and Strong Consumer Trust

Since its launch, Origin Fresh has witnessed strong customer adoption, surpassing 5,000 orders in just 40 days. Notably, over 60% of customers placed repeat orders within two weeks, reflecting high trust in the brand’s quality and freshness.

With this funding, Origin Fresh is set to further redefine the fresh produce market, ensuring that consumers get the best farm-to-table experience.
