Optimized Electrotech Secures $6 Million in Series A Funding to Advance AI-Powered Imaging Surveillance Solutions

Optimized Electrotech, a deep-tech company specializing in imaging surveillance technology, has successfully raised $6 million in a Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Blume Ventures and Mela Ventures, with additional participation from 9Unicorns and existing investors, including Rajiv Dadlani Group and Venture Catalysts. This new round follows a previous $4.5 million funding raised by the company from its current investors.

The newly acquired funds will be directed toward the development of next-generation AI imaging payloads and high-speed space-based surveillance solutions. Optimized Electrotech also plans to expand its global market presence, as stated in their recent press release.

Founded in 2017 by Sandeep Shah and Dharin Shah, the company’s mission is to provide AI-driven imaging solutions for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and other strategic applications. Optimized Electrotech is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge electro-optic systems across the electromagnetic spectrum, which are integral to enhancing operations in defense, space, border security, and aerospace sectors.

By integrating onboard analytics, their advanced surveillance solutions offer real-time intelligence that strengthens situational awareness in high-risk environments. The company’s innovative technologies also support a wide range of industries, including defense services, paramilitary forces, mining, and civic bodies. These solutions are specifically designed to counter unauthorized drone attacks, improving security and response capabilities.

“We are committed to leveraging this capital to further enhance our technological capabilities, expand our footprint, and contribute meaningfully to India’s strategic and security objectives,” said Sandeep Shah, founder and Managing Director of Optimized Electrotech. He emphasized the company’s focus on innovation, indigenous technology development, and creating strategic surveillance solutions, particularly at a time when government policies are increasingly promoting indigenous capabilities.

Optimized Electrotech competes with other leading companies in the sector, such as Tonbo and Tata Advanced Systems Ltd., in the race to provide state-of-the-art surveillance technologies to government and defense organizations worldwide.

With this fresh capital injection, Optimized Electrotech is poised to further solidify its position as a key player in the imaging surveillance technology space, advancing its mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance global security and strategic operations.
