O hi Secures $1 Million in Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Social Networking Innovation.

Date:

Social networking app O hi has successfully raised Rs 8 crore (approximately $1 million USD) in its pre-Series A funding round, with major contributions from existing investors JIIF and a consortium of prominent angel investors.

The funding infusion aims to bolster O hi’s product development initiatives, particularly enhancing its AI-driven profiling capabilities. Founded by Adeeti and Rupal, O hi revolutionizes social networking by merging real-life human interactions within physical environments such as cafes, airports, and hotels, thereby fostering a unique network of influence and opportunity in the real world.

Excitingly, the Welsh Government has extended an invitation to O hi to establish its platform in the UK, with a planned soft launch scheduled for July 2024. This initiative is supported by comprehensive resources aimed at facilitating O hi’s penetration and growth in the UK market.

The startup, which has diligently crafted digital chatrooms in venues like cafes and airport lounges to cultivate genuine human connections, has experienced rapid user base expansion. Within just 45 days, O hi has doubled its user acquisition rate achieved over the previous 24 months, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.

Currently, O hi boasts a burgeoning user base exceeding 800,000 users, a testament to its effective transition from extensive product development to successful beta testing and user adoption. With these recent developments, O hi is poised to further innovate and expand its influence within the global social networking landscape.
