Newmi Care, a comprehensive outpatient care platform specializing in women’s health and wellness, has successfully raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by Sprout Venture Partners. The funding round also saw participation from a prominent family office, LetsVenture, Sarcha Advisors, Key Ventures Forum, and several angel investors.
With the newly secured funding, Newmi Care aims to establish more women’s clinics in North and West India, enhance its technological capabilities, drive product innovation, and expand its team. The company’s mission is to create a robust infrastructure that caters to a wide array of women’s health issues, ranging from menstrual, sexual, and hormonal health to fertility, maternity, menopause, and reproductive organ cancers.
Since its inception, Newmi Care claims to have provided healthcare services to over 60,000 women across 400 locations in India. The company has also partnered with leading insurers to introduce women-centric outpatient department (OPD) insurance products, aiming to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for women. Currently, Newmi Care operates 10 clinics in the Delhi NCR region.
The company was founded by Aditi Singh and Sanchit Agarwal with a vision to address the gaps in women’s healthcare in India. Their full-stack approach encompasses clinics, teleconsultations, diagnostic services, and holistic health management for women of all ages.
Sprout Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm leading this round, has been actively investing from its Fund II. The firm has a diverse portfolio, including companies like Pixis, Ripplr, Fashor, Advantage Club, Goals101, and Fitso, reflecting its interest in supporting innovative startups across various sectors.
