Nayan Tech, a pioneering AI startup specializing in smart city solutions for traffic and urban management, has secured $2 million in its pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by BEENEXT, with participation from We Founder Circle, Venture Catalysts, Lets Venture, and FAAD Capital.
The funds will be used to scale Nayan Tech’s AI and IoT-driven solutions, expanding both within India and internationally. The company aims to enhance its services in traffic management, road safety, infrastructure monitoring, and driver behavior analysis through its AI-powered dashcams.
Founded by Jayant Ratti, Nayan Tech offers a wide range of smart city solutions, including traffic monitoring, municipal automation, urban infrastructure management, fleet management, and passenger safety. By leveraging AI and a combination of dashcams, drones, and smart mobile applications, Nayan Tech collects extensive data from vehicles, public transport, and delivery fleets. This data is then processed using advanced AI algorithms to track driver behavior, detect traffic violations, and identify infrastructure damage, helping cities improve road safety and manage urban infrastructure more efficiently.
Nayan Tech has already signed up over 17,000 drivers across India, who contribute crowdsourced footage to power its AI engine. With 35 contracted customers and 60 additional sign-ups in the pipeline, the startup has built a strong business foundation, boasting a total order book valued at Rs 35 crore.
As Nayan Tech continues to grow, its innovative approach to smart city management positions the company as a key player in revolutionizing urban infrastructure and traffic systems using cutting-edge technology.
