Mira, a groundbreaking crypto-AI startup, has officially emerged from stealth mode, securing $9 million in a seed funding round co-led by BITKRAFT Ventures and Framework Ventures. The round also saw participation from notable investors such as Accel, Mechanism Capital, Folius Ventures, and AJ Scaramucci’s SALT Fund.
Focused on building decentralized machine-learning infrastructure, Mira aims to empower developers by providing a robust platform to create AI-native applications swiftly and efficiently. The company’s innovative AI infrastructure includes a comprehensive library of workflows and toolkits preloaded with essential instructions for AI app development. These workflows are collaboratively produced and maintained by a community of developers who can monetize their contributions.
“Our mission is to democratize access to cutting-edge AI technology,” said Karan Sirdesai, co-founder of Mira. “AI is advancing at an incredible pace, but many developers are struggling to keep up due to inadequate infrastructure. Mira aims to bridge this gap by providing the necessary tools and resources.”
Looking ahead, Mira plans to implement its own blockchain to record all platform transactions. However, it remains undecided whether this blockchain will be a Layer 1 or Layer 2 solution. Sirdesai also refrained from commenting on the potential issuance of a native token for the platform.
With this significant seed funding, Mira is poised to make a substantial impact on the AI and crypto industries by fostering a decentralized and collaborative environment for AI innovation.
