MatchLog Solutions Secures $1.5M in Pre-Series A Round to Revolutionize Container Logistics.

Date:

MatchLog Solutions, a pioneer in sustainable container logistics and supply chain optimization, has successfully raised $1.5 million in its pre-series A funding round. Motion Ventures and July Ventures led the round, with notable participation from Venture Catalysts, Blue Ashva Capital, and Capital A.

This recent funding follows MatchLog’s earlier success in 2022 when it secured $3 million from Blue Ashva Capital, Rainmatter Climate Technologies, and Capital-A.

The company plans to utilize the raised capital to enhance sustainability and carbon efficiency within container logistics. According to a press release, MatchLog intends to expand its market presence, foster strategic partnerships, and deepen collaborations within the global shipping and port ecosystems.

MatchLog’s innovative triangulation solution, which matches import containers with export requirements, eliminates unnecessary dry runs and reduces the trips containers make back to empty depots.

With this funding, MatchLog is poised to expand its footprint and scale in India to maximize container usage and transport logistics efficiency. The strategic growth plan targets handling around 4-5 million containers annually, significantly reducing 200,000 metric tonnes of carbon emissions each year.

The startup boldly claims that it will eliminate 10 billion km of unnecessary travel globally in the EXIM container supply chain, setting new industry standards and significantly reducing its carbon footprint.
