LegalKart, a leading legal consultation platform, has successfully raised Rs 6.5 crore in its latest funding round, with contributions from IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre, Aevitas Capital, Shift Alt Cap, and other investors. This follows the startup’s previous Rs 4 crore pre-Series A round in January 2022, backed by Mumbai Angels and other investors.
Founded in 2019 by Arvind Singhatiya, the Gurugram-based company has rapidly become a significant player in the legal tech space. LegalKart provides a wide range of services, powered by artificial intelligence, including AI-driven documentation, consultations, and customized digital solutions. The platform connects users with legal professionals and lawyers in all Indian languages via audio and video calls, significantly enhancing accessibility for people across the country.
The latest funding will be directed towards accelerating LegalKart’s growth and expanding its offerings. With a 453% increase in its business topline over the past eight months, the company plans to use the proceeds to develop new AI-powered legal technology products, as well as extend its reach into India’s tier II and tier III cities.
LegalKart’s service portfolio goes beyond traditional consultations, offering essential services such as property document verification, vehicle challan payments, and the review and drafting of legal documents. By leveraging AI, the platform aims to revolutionize how legal services are delivered and accessed in India, particularly in underserved regions.
The company’s growth trajectory is poised for further acceleration, with a focus on expanding its presence and solidifying its position as a trailblazer in AI-driven legal services in India.
