Landeed Secures Strategic Funding to Expand Property Title Search Platform

Date:

Landeed, a property title search engine platform, has secured an undisclosed amount in a strategic financing round led by Paradigm Shift VC. This follows a successful seed round in January 2023, where Landeed raised $8.3 million with backing from Y Combinator, Draper Associates, and Bayhouse Capital.

The new funds will be directed towards expanding Landeed’s product line and enhancing its workforce to support both domestic and international growth. Founded in 2022 by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin, and Jonathan Richards, Landeed offers a streamlined service for users to search property titles and obtain land documents at a nominal fee. The platform consolidates various search methods, providing comprehensive data required by landowners or buyers to ensure the legitimacy of a property.

Landeed’s growth since its inception has been impressive, boasting a 22x increase in key financial metrics. The platform has served over 100,000 property owners and agents, aiding in property transactions and real estate development.

Recently, Landeed introduced the AI Property Analyzer, a feature that delivers a complete ownership history of properties, detailing all transactions and encumbrances from the initial owner to the most recent. This tool aims to further simplify the property verification process, enhancing transparency and trust in real estate transactions.
