Property title search engine Landeed has successfully raised $5 million in its Series X funding round, led by 10x Founders Fund. Prominent investors, including Oliver Jung, Paradigm Shift, Pioneer Fund, Jeffrey Epstein (Founder of Onboard), and Aaron King (Founder of Snapdocs), also participated in the round.
This marks the latest milestone for the company, which previously secured an undisclosed amount in a strategic financing round led by Paradigm Shift VC in June 2023. Earlier, in January 2023, Landeed raised $8.3 million in a seed round backed by Y Combinator, Draper Associates, and Bayhouse Capital.
The fresh funding will be used to enhance the platform’s artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities, further optimizing property title searches and documentation processes.
Founded in 2022 by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin, and Jonathan Richards, Landeed simplifies property title searches by consolidating data and providing essential land documents at a nominal fee. The platform ensures a seamless experience for users, offering quick access to critical information such as Sale Deeds and Encumbrance Certificates, which confirm that properties are free from legal or financial disputes.
The platform’s efficiency is a standout feature, claiming to deliver results 10 times faster than traditional methods. Landeed has gained significant traction, boasting over 5 million downloads across 24 states in India. Its user base includes more than 100,000 property owners, bankers, agents, and real estate developers who rely on the platform for property transactions, loan facilitation, and real estate development.
With an impressive 22x growth in key financial metrics, Landeed has positioned itself as a transformative force in the real estate sector, addressing long-standing inefficiencies in property title searches. The new funding will help the company expand its technological capabilities and continue driving innovation in the property-tech space.
