Ahmednagar-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand KisanKonnect has raised $4.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Mistry Ventures. The round also saw significant participation from Times Group’s Brand Capital, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, VC-Grid, Vishwang Desai, and other prominent family offices.
This funding follows a successful pre-Series A round where the company raised $3.7 million, led by Green Frontier Capital.
With the fresh capital, KisanKonnect plans to bolster its tech infrastructure, scale its operations, expand into key urban markets, and integrate AI-driven solutions into its farm sourcing and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Founded in 2020 by Vivek Nirmal and Nidhi Nirmal, KisanKonnect operates as a farmer producer company, connecting over 5,000 farmers with urban consumers. The brand focuses on delivering fresh, hygienic fruits and vegetables, sourced locally from over 500 farms, directly to customers’ doorsteps at fair prices.
