Energy analytics startup iRasus Technologies has secured Rs 4 crore in seed funding, co-led by Rohit Rajput and Srikar Reddy from IAN Angel, with participation from DFAN and other angel investors. The capital infusion will be used to scale its product and engineering teams while driving business growth across India, the company announced.
Founded in 2019 by Arjun Sinha Roy and Anirudh Ramesh, iRasus specializes in battery data analytics, catering to electric mobility and stationary battery storage solutions. The company focuses on providing critical intelligence for users looking to transition from fossil fuels to cleaner energy options.
iRasus’ flagship platform, Preksha, enables real-time battery management through predictive maintenance and data analytics. This technology helps users, including fleet operators and stationary battery users, reduce operational costs, enhance safety, and optimize battery performance. The platform’s insights are particularly beneficial for sectors like electric buses and renewable energy storage, ensuring extended battery lifespans and safer operations.
Headquartered in Gurugram, iRasus aims to forge partnerships with battery manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), fleet operators, and renewable energy providers as it scales its operations. The startup’s solutions address the growing need for reliable, scalable, and cost-effective battery data integration, positioning itself as a key player in India’s energy transition.
