Indore-based health tech startup Perkant Tech has raised ₹6.6 crore ($771K) in its seed round, led by YourNest Venture Capital. The funding round also saw participation from the Government of India’s Atal New India Challenge(₹1 crore), Villgro Foundation (₹35 lakh), and Sanchi Connect (₹25 lakh).
The investment will enable Perkant Tech to enhance its AI-driven health technology, scale its team, and gear up for a broader launch following successful trials. The company also aims to integrate advanced disease detection and recovery tracking features into its platform.
Founded in 2020 by engineers Lokant Jain and Saniya Jeswani, Perkant Tech has developed a smart AI-driven medical device designed to provide rapid and reliable health assessments. Its flagship product, “Abhay Parimiti,” can scan a person’s health in under 60 seconds, making it a valuable tool in areas with limited access to doctors.
The India-patented technology (with a pending U.S. patent) aligns with the National Digital Health Mission. It can analyze over 700 body signals, helping individuals detect potential health risks early. Designed for both medical professionals and non-medical users, the device is particularly suited for rural and remote areas where healthcare infrastructure is limited.
With this fresh capital infusion, Perkant Tech is set to revolutionize accessible AI-driven diagnostics, bridging the healthcare gap in underserved regions.
