0

Handloom clothing brand Dressfolk has announced securing a fresh round of undisclosed funding led by Eternal Capital and notable D2C founders Ghazal Alagh (Mamaearth) and Dhruv Koli (Boba Bhai). The funding round also saw participation from Nobody Ventures, Eagle Wings Ventures, and 3 Peaks Ventures, alongside existing investors All In Capital, Sidhant Keshwani (Libas), and Vidur Kataria (Master Chow).

The latest funding will help Dressfolk expand its offerings beyond sarees, enabling the brand to develop a broader range of contemporary Indian wear while staying true to its sustainable fashion ethos. This milestone follows its seed round in October 2023, when the company raised ₹3.3 crore led by All In Capital and other investors.

Founded in 2017 by Nitin Mehrotra, Dressfolk is committed to empowering local artisans and promoting sustainable handloom fashion. The brand collaborates with over 800 weavers and 120 artisans across six states in India. Having grown nearly 200% in FY24, Dressfolk boasts an impressive average order value (AOV) exceeding ₹7,000.

In addition to its website, Dressfolk has expanded its presence through leading marketplaces such as Aza Fashions, Nykaa, and Myntra. It also engages with its customer base through pop-up events across India, further strengthening its reach in the premium handloom segment.

This fresh infusion of capital positions Dressfolk as a frontrunner in modern Indian wear while continuing to celebrate and support the craftsmanship of India’s artisan communities.
