Ghost Kitchens India Enhances Gujarat Footprint with Shy Tiger Brands Acquisition.

Date:

Ghost Kitchens India has expanded its reach in Gujarat with the recent acquisition of Shy Tiger Brands, a prominent cloud kitchen company based in Ahmedabad.

Founded by Milapsinh Jadeja in 2018, Shy Tiger boasts five multi-brand cloud kitchens across Ahmedabad, featuring renowned brands such as KBOB’s and The Black Chimney.

This strategic acquisition follows Ghost Kitchens’ successful equity and debt round of $5 million in February 2024, signalling its commitment to growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving food service industry.

By integrating its existing brands into Shy Tiger’s infrastructure, Ghost Kitchens aims to strengthen its presence in Gujarat and capitalize on the region’s burgeoning demand for quality dining experiences.

Ghost Kitchens currently operates 15 company-owned cloud kitchens in Mumbai and Ahmedabad and a network of 1,200 internet restaurants in 40 cities across India.

This move builds upon Ghost Kitchens’ previous acquisitions, including the technology company WTF in 2022 and Speak Burgers by celebrity Chef Vicky Ratnani in February 2023. These strategic investments align with Ghost Kitchens’ vision to revolutionize the food delivery landscape and enhance customer satisfaction through innovation and collaboration.

With the cloud kitchen market projected to reach $3 billion by 2024, according to a Redseer report, Ghost Kitchens India is well-positioned to capitalize on this growth trajectory and emerge as a dominant player in the industry.
