General Catalyst Leads $2.75 Million Funding Round in Aerospace Pioneer Jeh Aerospace.

Date:

In a recent funding development, aerospace and defence manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace has successfully secured $2.75 million in a seed funding round. General Catalyst took the lead in this funding initiative, with additional contributions from notable angel investors such as Pratyush Kumar and Dwarkanath Srinivas.

The raised capital is earmarked for crucial initiatives, including developing essential infrastructure, driving organizational growth, and assembling a formidable team. Jeh Aerospace aims to leverage these resources to revolutionize the supply chain experience for its global clientele, as outlined in a recent statement provided to Entrackr.

Founded in 2022 by Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, Jeh Aerospace offers comprehensive manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain management solutions to the global aerospace and defence industry. The company’s core competencies lie in aerostructure and aero-engine components and assemblies designed to meet rigorous quality standards.

In response to the funding injection, the co-founders of Jeh Aerospace, Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “This is the most challenging of times and also the most exciting of times for the global aerospace and defence industry. We have found strong traction with global customers, helping them improve delivery and supporting their growth needs. We are excited about our upcoming journey and thank all our investors for supporting our tryst with entrepreneurship.”

The company operates on a hybrid model, manufacturing some parts in-house. With an ambitious goal of assembling a team of 100 professionals within the next six to nine months, Jeh Aerospace is poised for significant expansion.

Jeh Aerospace addresses global supply chain constraints that have long plagued the aerospace and defence industry. The company distinguishes itself by providing ready manufacturing solutions to the aerospace and defence sector through its scalable manufacturing facilities and a network of vetted suppliers that consistently meet or exceed global quality standards.

While Jeh Aerospace is operational in the US and Indian markets, the company has already served 100 companies. With this recent funding boost led by General Catalyst, Jeh Aerospace is well-positioned to solidify its presence further and make significant strides in reshaping the aerospace and defence supply chain landscape.
