Fresh From Farm Secures $2 Million in Pre-Series A Round.

Date:

Fresh From Farm, a pioneering B2B2C platform catering to the demand for fresh fruits, has successfully closed a pre-Series A funding round, raising $2 million. The investment was led by Ashish Kacholia, the founder of Lucky Investments, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures.

The capital infusion marks a significant milestone for the startup, enabling it to expand its team further, enhance its technological infrastructure, and introduce new product lines to its platform.

Rohit Nagdewani, the founder of Fresh From Farm, expressed his enthusiasm about the funding round, stating, “This investment will fuel our mission to revolutionize the fresh fruit supply chain by leveraging technology to minimize wastage and ensure efficient distribution.”

Fresh From Farm operates on a unique model, utilizing proprietary technology to predict and create a demand-supply equilibrium, thereby reducing the wastage of fresh produce. Its flagship product, F3, empowers fruit vendors by converting them into mini-franchisees. The platform handles sourcing, grading, and logistics, allowing vendors to focus solely on sales.

The startup has also provided early investors with a significant return on investment, offering more than 400% returns. Inflection Point Ventures, which led a Rs 3 crore seed round in November 2022, is one of the beneficiaries of this partial exit.

With an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of Rs 40 crore, Fresh From Farm aims to reach Rs 100 crore by the end of the current calendar year. This growth trajectory underscores the increasing demand for fresh produce and the effectiveness of the company’s business model.

Fresh From Farm operates in a competitive landscape alongside notable startups such as Vegrow and Ninjacart. However, its unique approach and focus on technological innovation have positioned it as a frontrunner in the fresh produce supply chain sector.

The latest funding round signifies investor confidence in Fresh From Farm’s vision and its potential to disrupt the traditional fruit distribution system. As the company continues to scale and expand its offerings, it is poised to significantly impact the agricultural industry while addressing the growing consumer demand for fresh, high-quality fruits.
