Hyderabad-based plant-based nutrition brand Earthful has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round led by Srinivasan Namala. With this latest investment, the company has secured over $1 million in total funding to date.
The newly raised capital will be utilized for research and development of new products, as well as strengthening brand presence, the company announced in a press release.
Founded in 2020 by Veda Gogineni and Sai Sudha G., Earthful is committed to offering 100% natural, clean-label supplements that are free from chemicals and additives. The company’s product lineup includes multivitamins designed to fill daily nutrition gaps for different age groups, along with targeted solutions for skin, hair, sleep, and PCOS. It also offers plant-based proteins and a junk-free, natural Kids’ Chocolaty Milk Mix powder.
Earthful has carved a niche in the nutrition industry by developing a 100% natural supplement specifically for menopausal women. The company claims to have served over one lakh customers, with 70-80% of its sales coming directly from its website. Its products are also available on major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart.
Staying true to its mission of science-backed nutrition, Earthful has recently launched Japanese Matcha and Coffee Mocha protein flavors, both free from additives and preservatives. Additionally, it has introduced a Kids’ Milk Mix powder, a nutritious blend of millets, plant-based protein, calcium, and Vitamin D3 made with real cocoa.
Over the past year, Earthful has witnessed a 3x growth trajectory, reaching over one lakh customers. The company boasts a 40-50% repeat purchase rate and currently operates at an annual revenue run rate of Rs 15 crore. Looking ahead, Earthful is set to expand into offline retail, aiming to make its products more accessible to consumers across India.
Competing with established brands such as Herbalife, Himalaya, Nutrilite, and Dabur, Earthful continues to differentiate itself with its clean, plant-based, and scientifically formulated nutrition solutions.
