Kolkata-based business-to-business (B2B) mobility solutions provider DriverShaab has raised Rs 2.82 crore in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by Firstport Capital and Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The company had previously secured $39.8K from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) and other investors.
The fresh capital will be deployed to scale DriverShaab’s driver aggregation platform, enhance operational efficiency, and bolster its technology infrastructure, the company stated in a press release.
Founded in 2019 by Avijit Das, DriverShaab offers on-demand driver services, logistics support, and employee transportation solutions for enterprises. The startup leverages technology to streamline driver aggregation, ensuring seamless deployment, reduced downtime, and enhanced service reliability. Its platform is designed to simplify fleet operations for businesses and create an efficient, tech-driven mobility ecosystem.
India’s mobility market is currently valued at $900 million, presenting significant opportunities for innovation in driver services and fleet management. DriverShaab addresses challenges related to driver supply, operational inefficiencies, and fleet complexities through its scalable, technology-driven model.
Since its inception, the company has facilitated transactions worth Rs 26 crore, demonstrating strong adoption and demand for its platform. With the latest funding, DriverShaab is poised to further expand its reach and refine its services, strengthening its position in the B2B mobility landscape.
