Clean-tech innovator Exposome has successfully secured Rs 10 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Colossa Ventures, a venture capital firm renowned for its focus on women-centric investments. The funding round also saw contributions from 3i Partners, as well as existing investors including Rahul Rathi, Bhukhanvala Holdings, Excel Industries, and Spectrum Impact.
The newly acquired funds are earmarked for scaling operations and expanding Exposome’s reach, with the aim of delivering impactful environmental solutions both within India and in select international markets.
Founded in 2020 by Prerna Goradia, Exposome specializes in creating sustainable and cost-effective solutions for capturing air emissions and treating wastewater. The company’s patented regenerative molecular filters and advanced filter materials offer customizable, long-lasting, and reusable options. These filters effectively isolate contaminants, releasing cleaner air and water, and helping companies meet stringent parameters such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) standards.
Among its innovations, Exposome has introduced Pur-safe, an advanced molecular air filtration media designed to combat air pollution, and PurCODe, a next-generation regenerable media for treating wastewater effluents. These solutions are described as cost-effective and plug-and-play, making them suitable for diverse industries including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paints, oil, refineries, cement, thermal power, textiles, and leather.
Since its inception, Exposome has served over 25 clients and deployed more than 1,000 filters, underscoring its commitment to environmental sustainability and industry compliance.
