Butterfly Learnings, a platform specializing in pediatric behavioural and developmental health, has successfully raised Rs 32 crore in its Series A funding round led by Insitor Impact Asia Fund II and Enzia Ventures, along with contributions from CIIE (IIMA Ventures), Foundation Botnar, 9 Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts.
This latest funding round marks a significant milestone for the Mumbai-based startup, which secured $2 million in seed funding in 2022 from investors, including Insitor Partners, 9 Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts.
The infusion of fresh capital will empower Butterfly Learnings to accelerate its expansion initiatives, mainly focusing on scaling its tech-enabled therapy programs. Sonam Kothari founded the platform as a phygital (physical + digital) platform, offering tailored support to children and families grappling with neurodiversity challenges.
With a team of over 250 in-house trained therapists, Butterfly Learnings extends its operations to urban areas such as Pune, Nagpur, and Nasik. Its core offerings encompass individualized therapy regimens rooted in applied behaviour analysis (ABA), consultations with skilled pediatric neurologists or developmental paediatricians, and supplementary therapies like occupational therapy, speech therapy, oral placement therapy, and sensory integration.
Presently serving approximately 2,000 families across 30 centres in Maharashtra, Butterfly Learnings aims to expand to multiple states and cities in India through a network of 200 centres, further enhancing accessibility to its invaluable services.
