Kerala-based plant-based snack brand Beyond Snack has raised $8.3 million in its Series A funding round, led by 12 Flags Group, a consumer business-focused fund founded by Rakesh Kapoor, the former global CEO of Reckitt Benckiser.
Existing investor NAB Ventures increased its stake in the company during this round. Other participants included Japanese venture capital firm Enrission India Capital and Faad Network, along with other existing backers.
This latest funding follows a $3.5 million pre-Series A round raised in July 2023, also led by NAB Ventures.
Expansion Plans
The newly secured funds will be channelled toward expanding Beyond Snack’s presence into new territories, driving product innovation, and strengthening its supply chain infrastructure.
