Health-tech startup Ai Health Highway has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Turbostart, as part of a larger $1.5 million round. Co-investors include Rainmatter by Zerodha, The Chennai Angels, BITS BioCyTiH Foundation, and other angel investors.
The funding will enable Ai Health Highway to expand its operations in India, fast-track international regulatory approvals, and enhance its AI/ML offerings, particularly in the cardio-respiratory healthcare domain. The company plans to use its innovative AI-driven tools to improve early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which remain a major global health challenge.
Founded in 2018 by Satish Jeevannavar, Ai Health Highway focuses on leveraging technology to increase healthcare accessibility and early screening, particularly with its flagship product, the AiSteth—an AI-powered stethoscope. AiSteth enhances traditional stethoscopes, using AI and advanced signal processing to help healthcare professionals and non-specialists interpret heart sounds, facilitating early detection of potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions.
With a mission to reduce premature deaths from NCDs by 30% by 2030, Ai Health Highway aims to integrate its AI-enabled stethoscope into primary care settings. This device offers high-quality heart sound capture, analysis, and data-sharing capabilities, making advanced cardiac care more accessible and affordable for both healthcare providers and patients.
This funding marks a crucial step in Ai Health Highway’s journey to transform the future of healthcare through cutting-edge AI innovations.
