Specialty coffee Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain abCoffee has fostered a fresh wave of success, securing a substantial $3.4 million in its Series A funding round. Nexus Venture Partners leads the investment, joined by existing backer Tanglin Venture Partners.

This funding milestone marks a significant leap forward for the startup, which raised $2 million in a seed round led by Tanglin Venture last September.

With this capital infusion, abCoffee is poised to revolutionize the coffee industry by enhancing its supply chain efficiency and bolstering its technological infrastructure. The ultimate aim? To deliver high-quality, on-demand coffee beverages at even more affordable prices and quicker turnaround times.

Founded in 2022 by visionary entrepreneur Abhijeet Anand, abCoffee has swiftly carved out a niche in the market, offering a diverse array of freshly brewed coffees that cater to a broad spectrum of tastes. From classic favorites like Americano and Latte to exotic blends such as Flat White, Iced Latte, and Irish Cold Coffee, abCoffee prides itself on delivering excellence in every cup.

The company’s commitment to customer satisfaction is reflected in its remarkable loyalty rate of 61%, nearly double the industry average. This loyalty is earned through a dedication to exceptional service, underscored by an impressive turnaround time (TAT) of just 1.5 minutes.

Bucking the trend of traditional expansion strategies, abCoffee has adopted a rapid growth model, recently opening 25 outlets across Mumbai and Delhi in a mere 20 months. The brand has ambitious plans to cement its presence in the market further, with a target of 150 stores by the end of 2024.
