AskMyGuru Secures $1.2 Million in Seed Funding to Revolutionize Spiritual Tech with AI and Gamification.

AskMyGuru, an innovative spiritual-tech platform, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding to further its mission of redefining spiritual guidance for the digital age. The round was led by Lumikai, a prominent interactive media and gaming VC fund, which contributed $800K, along with support from M-League, DeVC, and select angel investors, including Amarnath Thombre, the former CEO of Match Group Americas.

The platform plans to use the funds to enhance its product offerings, advance its Ved Vyas AI engine, and expand its language capabilities to cater to a broader audience. Currently, AskMyGuru supports languages such as English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu, but aims to expand its reach across even more regional languages.

Founded in 2025 by Krishna Mohan Vedula and Vivek Sadamate, AskMyGuru blends ancient Vedic Shastras with cutting-edge technology to create a new genre of spiritual tech. Combining AI, gamification, and deep research into Indic knowledge systems, the platform delivers interactive and personalized spiritual experiences that resonate culturally while being globally relevant.

The platform’s mission is to modernize the spiritual industry by creating immersive digital journeys that empower users to connect with spiritual wisdom. It also aims to support spiritual gurus by providing them with sustainable income opportunities through the platform. AskMyGuru’s vision is built on the concept of “Systems of Play,” a framework that uses gamified and engaging experiences to disrupt traditional industries.

In addition to its core focus on spirituality and astrology, AskMyGuru plans to expand into financial, relationship, and career guidance, positioning itself to compete with established players like Astrosage and Astrotalk.

Lumikai, which led the funding round, has a track record of investing in companies at the intersection of technology, culture, and interactive media. It has previously backed some of India’s top gaming and interactive media companies, including Elo Elo, Bombay Play, and All Star Games.

With this new round of funding, AskMyGuru is poised to transform the way people approach spiritual and personal guidance, bridging ancient wisdom with modern technology to create meaningful, interactive experiences.
