Pizza Wings Raises $2.8 Million to Fuel Expansion in Northern and North-Eastern India

Quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Pizza Wings has secured $2.8 million in fresh funding from marquee investors, including Gruhas—the investment arm of Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai—along with Udaan co-founder Sujeet Kumar and other strategic backers. This follows the company’s $4 million seed round in 2024, reinforcing investor confidence in its growth trajectory.

Expanding Nationwide with Fresh Capital

With this funding, Pizza Wings plans to expand aggressively across Northern and North-Eastern India, laying the groundwork for long-term growth. The company aims to add 50 new stores, scaling its network to 100 outlets by the end of 2025, with a focus on emerging urban centers.

To support this expansion, the brand is also strengthening its corporate structure, making strategic hires in finance, logistics, and marketing.

Blending International Quality with Indian Taste

Founded in 2014 by Aditya Dhanda, Rajpal Sangwan, and Vikas Nain, Pizza Wings is a homegrown QSR brand that blends global quality standards with Indian taste preferences. The company ensures strict quality control through cold fermentation processes, FSSAI-compliant procedures, and certified ingredients.

Their menu offers customizable options, designed by an experienced team of chefs, catering to diverse regional flavors.

Tech-Driven Innovation and Customer Engagement

Beyond expansion, Pizza Wings continues to drive innovation through its proprietary rider and store management applications, enhancing operational efficiency while reducing reliance on third-party aggregators.

With over 500,000 app downloads, the brand has successfully built direct customer relationships and is leading in sales across multiple cities.

As Pizza Wings scales further, its tech-first approach and customer-centric strategy position it for continued growth in India’s evolving QSR landscape.
