DCDC Health Services Pvt. Ltd. (DCDC), which operates dialysis centers under the DCDC Kidney Care brand, has secured ₹150 crore ($17.4 million) in funding from ABC Impact, a Singapore-based impact investor backed by Temasek.
The fresh capital will fuel DCDC’s expansion strategy, with a plan to establish 150 new clinics across India. This initiative aligns with the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, aiming to enhance affordable dialysis services for underserved communities.
Founded in 2009, DCDC currently operates over 200 centers nationwide through public-private partnerships (PPP)and standalone clinics. CEO Aseem Garg emphasized that the funding will improve last-mile connectivity, ensuring high-quality dialysis care for patients in need.
ABC Impact’s Chief Impact Officer, Sugandhi Matta, underscored the importance of expanding affordable healthcare, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to supporting impactful ventures.
DCDC’s investor base includes IFU (Investment Fund for Developing Countries) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Since 2021, the company has significantly scaled operations, now conducting nearly 100,000 dialysis sessions per month.
With this investment, DCDC is poised to strengthen its healthcare footprint, making lifesaving dialysis treatment more accessible and affordable across India.
