Everhope Oncology Secures $10M to Revolutionize Cancer Care in India

Everhope Oncology, a joint venture between Narayana Health, W Health Ventures, and 2070 Health, has raised $10 million in seed funding to establish advanced medical and surgical cancer care facilities in Delhi and Mumbai. The company plans to expand to 10 cities over the next three years, focusing on accessible, high-quality treatment.

The newly established facilities aim to enhance patient comfort and minimize wait times, ensuring a seamless and supportive care experience. In addition to medical and surgical interventions, Everhope Oncology will offer mental health counseling, nutritional guidance, and pain management services to provide holistic support for cancer patients.

Everhope’s treatment approach encompasses chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, and palliative care. “Many people imagine cancer treatment as patients who are weak and thin, surrounded by tubes, moving between crowded hospital rooms. Because of this, many avoid cancer screening and turn to unproven treatments. We want to change these common misconceptions about cancer care,” said Viren Shetty, Vice Chairman of Narayana Health.

According to the National Cancer Registry Program, one in nine Indians is expected to develop cancer in their lifetime, with breast, lung, cervical, colorectal, and oral cancers being the most commonly diagnosed.

Everhope’s funding comes at a time when several cancer-focused startups are gaining investor interest. Recently, MOC Cancer Care & Research Centre raised $18 million in a round led by Elevation Capital. Other notable startups in the space include ErlySign, OnCare, and OneCell Diagnostics, all working toward improving early detection and treatment solutions.

Everhope Oncology’s expansion plans signal a growing emphasis on patient-centric, efficient, and advanced cancer care in India.
