GreenStitch Secures $1.2 Million in Seed Funding to Revolutionize Sustainability in the Fashion Industry

Date:

GreenStitch, a cutting-edge SaaS platform focused on driving sustainability within the fashion and textile industry, has successfully raised $1.2 million in its seed round. The funding was led by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with notable participation from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, Zeca Ventures, and a group of influential climate and fashion experts. Among the prominent investors are Anshuman Bapna (Founder, Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO, Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (Founder, Clovia), Amit Kumar (Founder, Nobroker), and Senthil Sankar (Founder, Ecoline).

The company plans to utilize the funds to bolster its team and further develop its platform, which aims to reshape the way fashion brands manage sustainability by providing real-time, data-driven insights into their supply chain emissions and environmental risks.

Founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, GreenStitch leverages advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to address sustainability challenges in the fashion industry. The platform integrates directly with enterprise ERP and PLM systems to gather information across various supply chain tiers, filling data gaps to enable accurate Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations. This helps fashion businesses meet regulatory requirements while reducing their environmental footprint.

Beyond emissions tracking, GreenStitch empowers companies with tools for decarbonization and predictive modelling. These features enable fashion brands to evaluate the environmental impact of design choices and supplier decisions early in the production process, allowing them to adopt proactive sustainability measures.

The platform’s unique approach offers a comprehensive solution to the industry’s pressing sustainability concerns, positioning GreenStitch as a crucial partner for companies aiming to align with the growing demand for environmentally responsible practices in fashion.
