CynLr Raises $10 Million Series A to Drive Vision-Powered Robotics in Industrial Automation.

Date:

CynLr, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech robotics startup focused on AI-powered vision systems, has secured $10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Pavestone Capital and Athera Venture Partners (formerly known as Inventus India). This latest infusion of capital, which included participation from existing investors like Speciale Invest and InfoEdge’s Redstart, brings CynLr’s total funding to $15.2 million.

The fresh funds will be instrumental in scaling CynLr’s operations, enhancing both its hardware and software capabilities. The company aims to bolster its team and expand its supply chain network to reduce operational costs and improve customer experience. This expansion will also support CynLr’s goal of building a robust, cost-effective robotic solution for industrial automation.

Founded in 2019 by Nikhil Ramaswamy and Gokul N A, CynLr specializes in AI-based robotic vision solutions, creating technology that equips industrial robotic arms with the ability to visually perceive, interpret, and manipulate objects in unstructured environments. Through its unique visual intelligence platform, CynLr enables robots to handle complex, random tasks, a critical advancement for production lines requiring precision and adaptability.

A significant upcoming deployment will be with Denso, where CynLr’s solution will help manage demand variability in manufacturing. Their “hot-swappable” robot station is designed to address dynamic production needs and provide plant-level automation flexibility.

The company’s flagship product, CyRo, envisions a transformative production line called the “Universal Factory,” aimed at making it profitable to produce low-volume, custom-fit goods. With CyRo, CynLr is paving the way for scalable, high-precision robotic solutions in sectors where flexibility and adaptability are essential.

CynLr currently manages a supply chain comprising over 400 parts sourced from 14 countries and has plans to scale its manufacturing capacity to produce and deploy one robot system per day. By 2027, the company targets a revenue milestone of $22 million, underscoring its growth ambitions and commitment to revolutionizing industrial automation with next-generation vision technology.
